Kaneesha B. is the founder of Equity on the Rise, a platform dedicated to education, advocacy, and action. With a background in public health, social work, and community engagement, she is passionate about addressing systemic inequities and amplifying the voices of those driving change. As a Community Health Worker (CHW), MSW student, and public health advocate, Kaneesha has firsthand experience navigating the challenges marginalized communities face—particularly in access to healthcare, economic mobility, and social justice.
Through Equity on the Rise, Kaneesha aims to break down complex policies, highlight grassroots advocacy efforts, and provide practical tools for people to take action in their own communities. Her work is rooted in a commitment to justice, equity, and empowerment, believing that meaningful change starts with informed and engaged individuals.
